Ingeborg’s radio debut

I was really happy to be invited on NRK Møre og Romsdal to talk about our project. It was a radio piece, but to my surprise the TV picked it up too… there were some shots of me dragging my tyre in training, of course!

The hosts were brilliant, and they put me at ease immediately. They asked why I want to do this trip, which parts of the trip raise anxieties for me, what my family thinks about it and how the fundraising is going. The time passed very quickly. I said that the most challenging part probably will be the mental aspect - how to keep motivated after the third week skiing when you know there are still 6-7 weeks to go. It’s good that I love skiing and snow! I also said that my family supports me in this endeavour, but at the same time my grandmother is a bit worried, as grandmothers should be. They gave my ego a little boost saying my doctor-ing skills will be an asset on the team. While this is true, our training is going so well that we’re going to achieve this adventure in good health.

This was a great experience, and I’m grateful for the enthusiastic response to our project.
